Short Stories

Manuscript and Other Stories (Jay Walker Writing, 2008)

In this, her third collection, Meg Kingston explores subjects ranging from a strange document in the title story to a tale from a problem page and humour in a village store.

The Dragon Bridge and Other Stories (Jay Walker Writing, 2007)

The Dragon Bridge
Meg Kingston is a brave venturer in a field of literature considered out of fashion – The short story. Some of her short stories are so short they might be called fables, were it not for their readability. When she allows herself greater length her vision and range increase. This is her second published collection. I await the development of her third book with great interest.

Little Sacrifices and Other Stories (Jay Walker Writing, 2006)

Little Sacrifices
In this, her first anthology, Meg Kingston focuses her dry insight on subjects ranging from 21st Century office life to a young man’s first love as well as the near-future fiction of the title. Witty and well-observed, these are stories for today.
